This is a sweet vintage Smiley Face hard plastic coin bank. Made by Play Pal Plastics, Inc., this retro bank is dated 1971, making it 50 years old now!
It stands just over 11 inches tall and is 7 inches across the smiley face. It is so reminiscent of the era in which it was made, when smiley face items were abundant.
It has only slight wear and no cracks. I am not sure if the rubber plug is original to it, but it fits perfectly.
